Privacy Policy
This policy covers the corporate website ai4n.org, the invitation / contact form on it, and transactional SMS that AI for Nonprofits LLC (AI4N) sends when you give a mobile number on an AI4N-operated preview website (including p.ai4n.org). Product systems (AI4Colegios, AI4Gym, AI4Oro, AI4Nonprofits) publish their own data notices for product data.
Colombia / Spanish official data policy. If you are in Colombia or want the Ley 1581 treatment notice for corporate leads handled by our Colombian company, see the Spanish Política de tratamiento de datos (AI4N TECNOLOGÍA S.A.S.). That Spanish text is the authoritative Colombian data-protection notice for those leads.
1. Who we are
AI4N is operated by:
- AI for Nonprofits LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, United States; and
- AI4N Tecnología S.A.S., NIT 902083532-4, Colombia (Cámara de Comercio de Montería · Matrícula 236107).
Contact for privacy questions about this site: hello@ai4n.org or Paul at paul.amador@ai4n.org.
2. Who controls your lead data (controller split)
We split responsibility by market so the right company answers for the right leads:
| Situation | Primary controller |
|---|---|
| Lead or contact that is clearly about the United States, U.S. nonprofits, or AI for Nonprofits LLC | AI for Nonprofits LLC |
| Lead or contact from Colombia or Latin America, Spanish-language outreach, or about AI4N’s Colombia product work (schools, gyms, gold shops, founding pilots in Colombia) | AI4N Tecnología S.A.S. (see also Política de tratamiento de datos) |
| Unclear or mixed | We treat AI4N Tecnología S.A.S. as primary controller for form records processed in our Colombia operations, and we may share operationally with the LLC so Paul can reply. You may always write hello@ai4n.org. |
Product databases (member ledgers, gold operations, school families, etc.) are not collected on this corporate form and are governed by product contracts and product privacy notices.
3. What we collect on ai4n.org
Lead and contact form
When you use the invitation form, we collect what you enter:
- How you are reaching out (intent: operator, referral, or other)
- Name
- Vertical of interest, if any (school, gym, gold, nonprofit, other)
- Optional message
- Optional referrer name
- Technical metadata needed to process the submission (for example time of send). A hidden honeypot field is used only to block bots; real people should leave it blank.
If you email us instead, we collect what you send in that email.
Mobile number and preview-site forms
When you submit a form on an AI4N preview website that asks for a phone number, we collect the mobile number you enter, your name, the form answers you submit, and a record of whether you checked the box agreeing to transactional texts from AI4N. A public sample of that opt-in is at ai4n.org/sms.
Website analytics and session tools
We use analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site (pages viewed, links clicked, scroll depth, approximate device type, referral or campaign parameters). We do not sell this data.
- Cloudflare edge / delivery metrics for the site.
- Workers Analytics Engine (our event beacon) for product-style usage events (page views, clicks, form funnel, leave path).
- Microsoft Clarity (project used on this site) for session analytics: heatmaps, scroll maps, and session replay to improve layout and find friction. Clarity is configured to mask form input text by default. We do not use Clarity to capture passwords. Purpose: improve UX and the founding invitation path, not advertising profiles for sale.
Opting out of analytics where practical: you may use browser settings that limit tracking, block third-party scripts, or use private browsing. For Clarity specifically, you may also use Microsoft’s consumer tools where available and/or email us to request that we not associate future support with a replay if you identify a session. For access or deletion of form data, use the rights section below (that is separate from anonymous analytics aggregates).
4. How we use the data
- To reply to your request and evaluate a founding invitation or referral
- To keep a reasonable business record of the conversation
- To operate and secure the site
- To improve the website and invitation process (analytics)
- To send a transactional receipt SMS after you opt in on a preview form, and short follow-up texts if you reply
We do not use corporate-site leads to train public AI models for third parties. We do not sell personal information.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with service providers that help us operate the site, under contract, and only for the purposes above:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States / global network): hosting (Cloudflare Pages), CDN, security, and related storage for site and form pipeline where configured (for example Workers / D1).
- Microsoft (Clarity): session analytics as described above.
- Google LLC · Google Workspace (United States): email and documents used to receive and answer leads (for example hello@ and paul@ addresses on our domain).
- Twilio, Inc. (United States): delivery of transactional SMS to the mobile number you provide, and receipt of replies, STOP, and HELP.
Because several providers process data in the United States, form and analytics data may be processed outside your country. For Colombian personal data, see the transfer and rights language in the Política de tratamiento de datos.
6. Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in on an AI4N preview form, AI for Nonprofits LLC may send transactional text messages to that mobile number: a receipt after you submit, and short replies if you text us back. This is not a marketing program. We do not send advertising blasts.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share a number with Twilio only to deliver the message you opted into and to process replies, STOP, and HELP.
Message frequency varies. Typical volume is one receipt after you submit a form. If you reply, we may send a short acknowledgment. You will not receive a recurring promotional series.
Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier’s standard messaging and data charges apply to messages sent or received. AI4N is not responsible for those charges.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@ai4n.org. See also the Terms of use.
7. Retention
Lead and contact records: we keep them while we are evaluating or talking with you, and for up to twelve (12) months after the last meaningful contact, then delete or anonymize them, unless a longer period is required by law or an active dispute. You may request earlier deletion where the law allows.
Analytics aggregates: kept according to each vendor’s settings and our operational need to improve the site; they are not a substitute for your form record.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, or to object to marketing. For this corporate site:
- Email hello@ai4n.org to request access to or deletion of your lead information.
- Colombian residents: use the channels and deadlines in the Política de tratamiento de datos (including Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio complaint rights).
- We do not sell personal information. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before doing so.
9. Children
This site is for adult operators and professional contacts. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect children’s data on this form.
10. Security
We use HTTPS and limit access to lead data to people who need it to reply. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes for ongoing processing will be posted on this page.
